Join us for one of Fort Benning's most popular and rigorous events, the Reverse Sprint Triathlon. This annual Run 5k/ Bike 20k/ Swim 750m event will start at 8am May 19 in the parking lot of the Family Fun Center on Eckel Avenue. The top three male and female winners in each age division will receive awards. Age divisions include 12 and younger, 13-17, 18-29, 30-39, 40-49 and 50 and older. Early registration, $50 per individual and $70 per team, starts Jan 2 and ends May 17. Register online at benningmwr.com/sports.php or at Smith Fitness Center. The 3rd annual Go Green for Girls Inc. will be held May 19 at Columbus State University's Woodruff Park. This is a fundraising event benefiting Girls Inc. of Columbus. Girls Inc. is a non-profit organization serving girls in our community. Girls Inc. provides a safe environment for girls to learn to be themselves and to become "Strong, Smart, and Bold." This event is a family event for all ages. The Go Green for Girls Inc. "Lawn Party" will consist of a Volleyball Tournament, and Backyard Bocce Ball tournament, Kid's Zone, great food and more! Cash Prizes will be awarded. No experience is necessary. Just come out for a day of fun with your family. Gates open at 2, tournament starts at 3. The Weracoba/St. Elmo Preservation Society will hold the 16th Annual Arts in the Park on Sunday, May 20, 2012 from 12 noon until 6 p.m. The Wildwood and Weracoba Parks were once a center for recreational activities, including Sunday afternoon concerts. These parks are now an important part of the Weracoba/St. Elmo Historic District, also known as The Park District. The event will feature the works of area artists as well as performances by local musicians and children's entertainment. The artist's works will be available for sale. The public is welcome to bring a picnic basket, spread out on a blanket under the trees and listen to the music. Local vendors will be on hand to provide food and drink. The event is FREE and open to the public. RAIN DATE: Sunday, June 3, 2012.

Full day campers will eat lunch in the caferteria (included in tuition). In the afternoon, campers will play indoor soccer and go swimming when facilities are available.
